The pictures did not originate with me. You can send them to your contacts, crediting the original sources, as I did in the article.

RE: Review of In The Land of Blood and Honey, a movie by Angelina Jolie

When I try to click on the title of this article so that I can link to it elsewhere, it is redirected to

When I click on “comments”, the same thing happens!

Mr. Dorich’s fine review deserves to be linked to on other websites. Please fix the problem. (There is already a link to gmbooks on the post–the redirects are unneeded and hurt your–and Mr. Dorich’s–cause.

Please also remove this comment after you have fixed the problem. I don’t want the comment posted, I just want the redirects removed. I support what your forum is doing very much, but am frustrated by these counterproductive redirects.

Thank you.

I cannot fix this problem because I am unable to duplicate it. I find that the links on the article are working properly. There were never any redirects in the article.

Here is the correct link:

If you are viewing an individual article on 1389 Blog, the article title will NOT be clickable. Instead, the link to the article will be the URL in your browser.

If you are viewing the main page, or a page of search results, all article titles will be clickable.

I did NOT delete your comment, simply because I have no way to communicate with you other than by replying to your comment above. I tried using your email address provided with your comment, but it bounced.

Please email us directly if there are any further problems.

There IS a problem! I can click on any other article title on your blog, except the one I want. I still get the redirect.

And I don’t understand what you mean by “the URL in your browser.” If I can click on any other article title except for one, there is no problem with my browser. And I tried my other browser, and still got the redirect.

What happens when you click on THIS?

I think that the problem has been fixed.

It works fine! Hvala!

And thanks for all you–and Bill Dorich, Stella Jatras, etc. do!

I got given a T-shirt that says the name of the label/bussiness “1389”. He said it ‘the year of some important Serbian war’ or something. Then I wore it in public and got a whole heap of weird looks.

What’s the go?

9 1389 December 30, 2011 at 8:38 pm

1389 is the year of the Battle of Kosovo. See: What happened in 1389? for more.

I don’t know why you got a whole heap of weird looks. Did it just say “1389” on the outside of the shirt, or was there something else on it? Where did you go with the shirt on? Do you have a picture of the shirt?

I wear Serbian-themed shirts from time to time, but I can’t really say whether or not I get weird looks from people because of that. Maybe everybody looks at me that way all the time! 😆

I am located in the US and have very limited resources. I suggest you request help from the Serbian Orthodox Church near where you live.

Bookmarked your Blog after reading your comments at Atlasshruggs. I search for Truth and Knowledge. Looks like you got some of that here. Glad to see the e-Sword links too — great source of knowledge and truth.

Thanks very much! We appreciate that!

We strongly encourage commenters to read our comment policy before posting. However, that may be a problem for the functionally illiterate. Now, we are not an anti-terrorism blog, as such. (Former President George W. Bush might want to start one of those.) We are a counterjihad blog. Jihadis use many tactics, of which terrorism is but one. Our friend Joe the Bro either cannot grasp the difference or he simply cannot read that well. However, he did try to make one point that we should address.

Lockerbie bombings=not muslim

That claim might be of interest if you have any more data. The man convicted in that case was Abdelbaset al-Megrahi. He was from Libya. That name sure sounds Muslim to us, and the Libyan population is pretty much Muslim.

Now, please try to read our comment policy. Read it carefully and make sure that you understand all of it. You might need to get someone to help you with big words, like “ad hominem attacks” and “incoherent rambles.” See if you can find someone who actually finished high school and ask for help posting. Then try again. We love to post reasonably intelligent comments from our readers.

@Joe The Bro,

My fellow blog admin, CzechRebel, had to edit out your intemperate language.

Shame on you. That’s no way to talk to a lady!

Outstanding article by Larry Correia gun bans. With a crisis in full bloom concerning lack of magazines since Obama’s latest threat to push another ban, and since Mr. Correia has experience in the manufacture of magazines (“ If you can cook meth, you can make a functioning magazine. My old company designed a rifle magazine once, and I’m no engineer. I paid a CAD guy, spent $20,000 and churned out several thousand 20 round Saiga .308 mags. This could’ve been done out of my garage.”) I would be interested in helping to finance another such project if he could facilitate such an effort. Serious offer. As you must know, the need has never been greater. Mags, especially for the SCAR17s have completely dried-up. Several million gun owners would celebrate your cooperation.

Why is it necessary to have an intrusive banner or whatever it’s called, over on the left side under the word “share?” It covers the edge of the page and remains in place, it’s annoying. Why have it since it is duplicated at the bottom of your page anyway?

21 1389 January 23, 2013 at 10:48 am

The intrusive button bar is there because the “tweet” and “share” buttons are failing to appear on individual blog posts. I would prefer not to use it but I do not have the time, energy, or expertise to fix the other problem.
