Radio presenter Michael Smith dumped after comments about Muhammad

Morning Mail has the story:

2GB: Where do we go now for the truth?

Once more, truth is the casualty as the gutless tumble to placate a minority.

Sydney Radio 2GB continues to enjoy top ratings for nearly all of their shows with none so successful as Alan Jones’ breakfast Show. And why? Because he calls it how he sees it—a long time formula that clearly works!

2BG’s large and influential audience is loyal to the station’s pursuit of truth and news that other media do not provide and that is their trademark of success.

Their Program Director David Kidd has made a serious misjudgement when he cancelled the awaited Michael Smith from his stand-in spot for regular, Chris Smith. Michael Smith is the one that Radio 2UE dumped when he exposed Julia Gillard’s connection to the now being investigated by a Royal Commission into union fraud, etc, including the HSU tangle that got Smith sacked.

The reason for Kidd to cancel Smith’s guest appearance was because Smith dared to tell the historic facts about the Prophet Mohammed who took a nine-year-old as a wife, which, by today’s norms and laws is classed as the doings of a paedophile.

David Kidd has obviously caved in to the exploited sensitivities of the Muslim minority who don’t support or listen to 2GB anyway, just like the complainers that caused Alan Jones to lose his Mercedes were never to be Mercedes’ customers.

Given the mounting concern about worldwide Muslim activities, make no mistake; Australians are more than ever questioning the compatibility between the tenets of Islam and its effect on Australian culture in particular.

The 2GB audience will now wonder if Program Director Kidd will be presenting his program content for Muslim approval before airing.

This may be the time to voice your opinion to 2GB?

I am so sick and confused about this ongoing pandering to radical Islam. It doesn’t take too much intelligence to figure out that radical Islam and Sharia Law is more dangerous than Adolf Hitler ever was, so why is everyone so determined to invite this idiology into our society? I don’t want Jews and gays hung for what they are, nor do I want my grand daughters vagina mutilated to appease some child sex offender name Muhamid. I don’t suppor family honour killings, and I don’t like the fact that the USA has a Muslim president. I’m not a racist “I’m a patritotic old man who cares about my grandchildren.

Ditto to all that John Eduardos.
I can’t remember ever experiencing such frightening times. They are everywhere.

The Nazis were more contained and so were Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot.

I can’t think of any Western governments that are doing their darndest to protect their own citizens….maybe Bibi is, but that’s about all.

Michael Smith lost a previous job at a radio station, as did journalist Glenn Milne. Both were investigating Julia Gillard’s ties to unions and inappropriate behaviour.

Gillard was PM then. I didn’t think Michael would lose this job under the current conservative government but then again it was the radio station.

Michael is right of course. Larry Pickering is also right and he has also documented Gillard’s dubious past and the inroads Islam has made into Australia.

Both have done extraordinary work!

But in this age of leftism
crooks = good guys
good guys = crooks!

I can’t imagine what Sarah Palin had to endure, and still does, the way both the Dems and GOP treated her.

@ Gramfan,

Vladimir Putin is not the head of a western government – Russia is primarily an Asian power, not a European one – but he is truly doing his duty in protecting his own citizens. Russia is not at war with anyone and has not been at war for quite a long time. Contrary to what you might see in the press, Russia is not an active participant in the ongoing, low-level civil war in Ukraine.
