@ Uncle Vladdi,

It never fails to amaze me reading the comments on YT.

Political stuff is the worst.

I have a channel just with music and even there I get creepy stuff: music is “in the eye of the beholder” so to speak, so why would they even bother? I wouldn’t bother to post something awful on a song I didn’t like.

Trolls abound!!

As far as my channel is concerned YT let’s me delete the comments I don’t like.

Took me a while to find this out. It is a newer feature of YT.

I don’t get them often, in fact I don’t get many comments either but there is a lot of cr*p on YT so hopefully this poster will delete them, or even close the comments – all of which is possible.

I didn’t know a lot of this stuff for a long time. YT has changed the rules so much lately that I am never going to make clips of my favourite, and very rare, songs again.

In fact, I deleted a whole lot because they were blocked in all but 11 countries.

YT seems to have different rules for different countries. Others have gotten away with what I couldn’t from my location.

I regretted the email address I set my channel up with.

The only good thing about it is that it is a GMail a/c so if I move or change ISP’s it will still be there.
(I check it every day, lol, just in case!)

I never knew this before. I have a friend who changed email addresses and immediately lost all her YT songs.

Another one whose yahoo a/c got hacked and now he can’t even reply to comments or post more clips.

I usually reply, just good manners it seems to me.

The fact is that you can never change your email address that is connected to YT or the channel will disappear.

And now Google has somehow put me onto Google +.

I don’t even know how this happened. I don’t like it at all. If I chose to get off Google + my channel will also disappear!

Some months ago I couldn’t even upload my own songs to my own blog which is just a hobby blog for my escape. Not many of us can do this 24/7.

The end result is that now I cannot post comments on any Google blog without giving away my ID.

The things I have found out about YT just through music clips is quite incredible actually.

Sorry for the techno-rant 🙄
