How can you tell whether someone is a Muslim?

Let’s do some profiling!

When a news story story is about the misdeeds of Muslims, the mainstream media usually downplays the culprit’s belief system. They also downplay or cover up the perp’s ethnicity or national origin if it involves a Muslim country. This makes for some misleading news coverage! However, if they print a person’s real name, you have an important clue.

In real-life situations involving Muslims, forewarned is forearmed. You can’t tell by looking. Muslims can be of any race and they don’t all dress in Muslim garb – until such time as they’re already hired somewhere and want to make a big issue about it.

Note: Very occasionally, you will encounter an exception; not everyone with a Muslim-sounding first or last name is a Muslim. And not every Muslim uses a Muslim name. A name is simply a valuable clue, not a definitive answer.
