Yeah, I’m upset. Big time. Who wouldn’t be?

Any US citizen who puts his faith in the Supreme Court to uphold the US Constitution is a fool. The President is required by his oath of office to uphold the US Constitution, as are all incoming US Senators and Representatives. Abiding by that oath clearly means that all legislators are bound to vote against any law that violates the US Constitution, and that the President is bound to veto such a law. Obamacare should never have been proposed in the first place! As we can see, the President, our legislators, and indeed, all of our federal officials have been flouting their oaths of office, en masse, for well over a century.

What grounds are there to expect any better from the SCOTUS?

I recently bought a bumper sticker that says THE MEDIA IS LYING TO YOU. It reminds me of the signs in that movie that became visible when Piper put on the special sunglasses.

I can’t help wondering what the effect would be if that sticker caught on, and the “low information voters” were confronted with that message wherever they went. Ah well, I can dream.

Here’s the Zazzle link. It’s not my site; I’m not making a dime off it.

Remember the controversy about the “V chip” that was supposed to be put into television sets, to implement parental controls for screening out violent content?

Back then, I remarked that what we really need is an “L chip”, and that adults need it as much as the children do. Here’s how it would work: whenever somebody on television is lying, the “L chip” would shut off the television. 😆
