The good news: Our friend Zilla took sixth place in the Circle of Moms – Top 25 Political Moms contest. See Zilla’s article: Congratulations to The Lonely Conservative and Thank You to Everyone who Voted & Helped!
The bad news: Although Zilla has begun medical treatment for advanced Lyme Disease and Erlichiosis, thanks to the other bloggers and readers who have contributed to her fund, she is still seriously ill and needs additional financial help to continue treatment. Please give as much as you can afford.
For those not familiar with Lyme Disease, it is a dangerous bacterial infection spread by the bite of the blacklegged tick, prevalent in certain regions of the US. These ticks pick up the bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi, from biting mice or deer that carry it.
The ugly news: Leftist trolls have attempted to hijack Zilla’s identity, and are sending out some very unpleasant emails that purport to be from Zilla, but are not. One of the phony addresses these trolls are using is zilla@zillamare.com. This address does NOT belong to Zilla, and she is NOT responsible for any messages coming from that address.
Identity Theft: Another Tool for the Politics of Personal Destruction from the “Tolerant” Left
Please be aware that leftists have taken to committing identity theft to impersonate me in comments sections of blogs and are using a fraudulent email that looks similar to my public email address to make it look as if I am saying horrible offensive things in an attempt to destroy my reputation, apparently because I did well in a recent contest for political bloggers, they have been doing this to the winner of the contest, The Lonely Conservative, as well. If you see something that appears to have come from me but is totally out of character for me to say, know that it is in all likelihood, NOT ME, but a leftist troll who thinks a campaign of personal destruction against a person who is fighting serious and potentially fatal illness is a good and proper thing to do.

Thank you, 1389. Sorry it took me so long to get here, yesterday was a bad day with this stupid illness. So far today seems a bit better.
