Uh oh!
Despite my infamous talent for inflammatory rhetoric, I find that no language offers words bad enough to convey my evaluation of the current political and economic scene.
Your mileage, however, may vary. Let me offer a few graphics that may suit your tastes. In an effort to abide by the written policy at 1389 Blog, I’ll try to keep it reasonably clean.

North Iowa Tea Party
This billboard was put up by the North Iowa Tea Party. Even in the rather mild form shown here, it caused some very heated controversy. Had I designed the billboard, I would have put “International Socialism” over the photo of Lenin, and “Jihadi Socialism” over that of Obama. But then, I push the envelope just a little bit further.

By Chelsea SchillingA firefighter says he is in hot water with his department after his supervisors noticed his anti-Obama bumper stickers and banned him from parking inside the firehouse based on his political views.
“It’s freedom of speech as far as I’m concerned,” Hartford, Conn., firefighter Mike Di’Giacomo told WFSB-TV. “This is my personal vehicle.”
Di’Giacomo has worked for the fire department for 10 years. He said a supervisor noticed his stickers and told him he could not park his SUV inside the firehouse, something his fellow firefighters are allowed to do.
The bumper stickers read:
- Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot.
- I’ll keep my guns, freedom, & money … you can keep the ‘change!’
- Obama Bin Lyin’. Impeach Now!
