From Atlas Shrugs:
Many of you have written me asking how you could help in any small way the fight against the Islamisation of Europe. Here is one way.
BOYCOTT UNILEVER
Long time Atlas readers know how much I admire Geert Wilders. I admire Wilders (the Dutch anti-Islamist politician) and I want to help him. If wish to join me you will have to stop using products such as Dove, Ben and Jerry’s, Lipton Tea and other brands of the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever. Last week one of the Dutch Unilever directors started an anti-Wilders campaign because “Wilders is evil, and evil has to be stopped.”
Brussels Journal has it all here.
This is the moral illness infecting the world, the inability to distinguish between good and evil
Why does Unilever allow its director to do this?
Perhaps because, as one of the comments at TBJ says:
A time back during the situation with the Danish cartoons a Danish company known as Arla Foods was hit pretty bad. They had recently invested a lot building up their clientelle in the Middle East only to have their sales plummet to zero as a result of the backlash over the cartoons. It is not unlikely that Unilever is afraid of a similar backlash against Dutch companies once Wilders’ film about Islam gets released. Unilever is trying to pro-actively stem the tide.
UPDATE: From the comments section:
File a complaint with Unilever at: http://www.unileverusa.com/resources/contactus.asp
Canadians: there is no province listed – therefore put a U.S. state in the appropriate box and explain in the contents why you have done so – otherwise your e-mail won’t go through as the state is required.
The following is a list of all products shown at their site: All, AXE, Ben & Jerry’s, Bertoli, Breyers, Caress, Degree, Dove, Good Humor, Hellmann’s, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Klondike, Knorr, Lawry’s, Lever 2000, Lipton, Lipton Sides, Pond’s, Popsicle, Promise, Q Tips, Ragu, Country Crock, Skippy, Slim-Fast, Snuggle, Suave, Vaseline, Wish-Bone, Wisk
Once again another company bends over backwards to appease and please Islam. I am personally sick and tired of corporate entities and politicians cowering in the face of political Islam. With each concession made a little bit more of our children’s future disappears. Hit these bast–ds where it hurts – their annual profits and don’t buy their goods. But take it a step further and take a couple of seconds to write and tell them the reason for boycotting their products. Geert Wilders is the ONLY politician out there with the guts to put his life on the line and say enough to Islam. Are we going to let him stand alone? Normally I purchase many of products on the list. But I won’t buy these items any longer. I will not financially support companies that sell out to political Islam.
