I have said a number of times that what I do here would be illegal in some countries in Europe, and that a European citizen doing what I do can be arrested there.
Britain is such a country. Its recent laws concerning the incitement of racial and religious hatred have made illegal much of what is published in the Counterjihad blogosphere.
And now the first British blogger is about to face the Multicultural perp-walk.
Lionheart is a well-known patriotic blogger in England, and is on our blogroll. He is currently outside the UK, and has been informed that he will be arrested for stirring up racial hatred as soon as he returns home.
Here’s what he has to say about it:
The cultural weapon in the hands of the modern Jihad within Great Britain, silencing the opposition using our own laws against us — The Dumb Filthy Kaffir’s as the Moslem would say to his children behind closed doors.
What has become of my homeland, the land my forefathers fought and died for on the battlefields of the world when one of their children is forced into the position of facing years in prison for standing up for what is right and just within British society.
At least my words of truth have obviously now reached people’s eyes and ears, with the powers that be now intent on silencing me — Third World Tyranny in a supposed 21st Century democracy!
Who have I killed, who have I threatened to kill? No one, all I have done is written about my reality on a computer screen, and now I face going to prison in my own country for standing up for myself and others.
What has happened to those who threatened my life or who have killed my friends — NOTHING — This is British justice in the 21st Century — Shove your British Labour justice because it is worthless to the Englishman whose country this is, whose country you have destroyed.
Keep an eye on Lionheart’s blog, because he will be posting there concerning the progress of his case. If you’re a blogger, please post about this to help give him as much publicity as possible.
Writing letters to Her Majesty’s ambassadors might be a good idea. I’m going to look for a comprehensive list of contact emails, phone numbers, fax numbers, and addresses.
Britain’s anti-incitement laws are well-harmonized with the Framework Decision, which means that the rest of the “provinces” of the EU will have the same laws on the books when the Lisbon Treaty goes into effect and the legal systems are standardized.
This is just the beginning.
And don’t think that the United States is immune. There are people working diligently right now to get laws through Congress which are almost identical in wording to those used by the EU.
The First Amendment has become all but meaningless in the last two decades. We are at the mercy of nine old men in black robes who sit in summary judgment on our freedoms.
The election of a Democrat as President along with a Democrat Congress could topple freedom of speech here as surely as it has been toppled in England.

LittleGreenFootballs has been infiltrated

For some weeks a controversy rages between the counter-jihadis of Little Green Footballs and a number of Islam-critical top bloggers. Your reporter went into the battle zone of this controversy to discover a sinister plot, and the explanation why this matter went completely out of control.
On first glance the issue seems to be whether or not some European parties are fascist or not, notably Vlaams Belang and Sverigedemokraterna. Both parties sent representatives to the anti-Islam conference in Brussels, where nearly all relevant players were present. This was not what LGF liked, being tipped off by Swedish anti-fascists.
But further investigation proved there is more going on. The debate went completely out of control: old alliances and long lasting friendships might very well be permanently damaged. How did this come to be?
Because of the Brussels Conference LGF boss Charles Johnson received messages from Europe about the assumed neo-Nazi secret agenda of Vlaams Belang and Sverigedemokraterna. Johnson obviously was flabbergasted. Understandable, because, as many posters said: “If it can be proven that European anti-Islam organizations are allied to fascists, many Americans will step aside from supporting the Euro anti-Islam organizations. An old problem was reborn again. Who doesn’t remember the messages collected by Blokwatch (and partly fabricated by them) about the roots of Flemish nationalism, who, as is commonly known, en masse choose to support the Nazis during WW2, in the hope of gaining independence after the war. Blokwatch also collected a lot of material about contacts between Vlaams Blok and questionable neo-Nazi organisation and persons. A similar file was collected about Sverigedemokraterna. The Swedes had some members in their ranks who maintained similar contacts with questionable clubs and persons.
In the following weeks many bloggers pointed Johnson to the fact that most of the “evidence” was razor thin, could be easily countered and was often manipulated. Then something important happened. Every reasonable man with sufficient understanding of politics will understand the vulnerable position of the international anti-Islam movement, and will know he has to work carefully and with restriction. Not so on LGF. Every critical remark about the “evidence” or suggestion of making things up were tarred as fascists or VB apologists. Even the most reasonable posters were scolded and suspected. Johnson was not capable of keeping the situation under control. Far from it: he was tempted by a herd of Lizards (which is how the posters on LGF call themselves) to estrange himself even more from such reputable bloggers as Fjordman, the folks of Gates of Vienna and Brussels Journal.
In the ongoing debate a Norwegian antifascist, Øyvind Strømmen, showed up. He wrote the book “Eurofascism”. Several times Charles Johnson published parts of this book, all of them accusations aimed at Vlaams Belang and Sverigedemokraterna. Of course, all of this was simply more of the same. In my opinion, it was a major error of Charles Johnson to quote from this book. Not just because the material was mainly irrelevant; to the contrary. Such accusations should always be taken seriously. But because he refused to call for a time-out or discuss matters with the (at that time) friends and allied bloggers, Johnson hanged himself with his, or better phrased, this evidence. That evidence became quickly irrelevant; matters had gone too far already. Apparently Charles Johnson had released the genie out of the bottle and had no idea how to get it back again. He had few options but to keep walking the path he made himself.
Now the smoke has cleared, mainly because Johnson’s opponents had the wisdom not to overreact we can make up the balance sheet. Those who followed the debates have seen the resentful tone that many Lizards used. LGF is known as very much pro-Israel, which really is a point to their benefit. It’s no surprise many Shoah survivors or descendants from them are amongst the Lizards, and they turned themselves away from the Euro movement. Add to this the deep suspicion many Americans hold about Europe, and European history, and we have the explanations for this debate that went completely out of control. At least, that is what a superficial observer will think.
However, to quote Daniël Belinfante: “there is more going on”. Let’s have a closer look at this gentleman Mr. Øyvind Strømmen. Who is he? A small investigation showed that Mr. Strømmen is member of this club: [listed at ECPR: European Consortium for Political Research]. When we read this list carefully, we find the name and founder of Blokwatch, the “anti-fascist” blog that began the accusations of fascism against Vlaams Belang. This is Bart Spruyt. You will find his name on this list.
But there is more: Mr. Spruyt, a friend of Øyvind Strømmen, did much to internationalize the ‘anti-fascist’ jihad by founding disreputable anarchistic-like clubs such as AFA Netherlands. These chappies are internationally organized. Scandinavia abounds with these little progressive clubs. Perhaps you recall the attempted murder on four SIOE members in Copenhagen, recently? Yes, friends of our friends Spruyt and Strømmen. Those of you who would bear the stench can open a cesspit of extreme left Inquisition. And be surprised of the way these little hysteric clubs work intimately together, internationally.
What are the conclusions of this little investigation? The obvious, of course. LGF has been infiltrated by left wing fanatics, who respect nobody and nothing to achieve their goals. Those who tar everybody fascist who resists, for example, the Islamization of Europe. We are talking here about delusional fanatics who are so utterly convinced of being right (compare them the Baader Meinhof gang) they don’t worry about one victim more or less. They actually became what they fought: merciless fascists. Their current champion: Øyvind Strømmen. The man shows off with his many ‘investigations’, but got his ‘investigation’ directly from Bart Spruyt. I do not doubt this applies to his ‘investigations’ about Sverigedemokraterna as well.
Please draw your own conclusions by reading his own forum. A very weak debater, drawing up smokescreen after smokescreen. All questions that might compromise him will remain unanswered. However, his strategy is clear enough: he wants to uncover the Islam-watchers as fascist fanatics, or at least as their helpers. Practically ALL Islam critics (Bat Ye ‘Or, Oriana, Robert Spencer, Mark Steyn, Fjordman, you just name anyone) have been criticized by him. There can be no doubt at all: Øyvind Strømmen thinks Islamization is a hoax, and Islam critics are mentally ill or (his preference) fascists. And this is supposed to be the source of Johnson? An infamy!
Did Strømmen enter the debate alone? Of course not. I found so much hatred in the ongoing debate that my conclusion is that Charles Johnson not only has a very questionable advisor, but also that the Lizards have been infiltrated. Check it out for yourself. Observe the responses from the Lizards: foaming at the mouth as they blast their ‘fascist’ mantra to your postings. Amongst them are a lot of Europeans who will claim not to be left wing orientated. But also a bunch of Lizards who feed Charles Johnson with a deluge of evidence. Evidence collected for many years by the Strømmens and Spruyts of the world. There is a little bit of good news to report as well. Charles Johnson has put some distance between himself and Strømmen. He repeatedly said that he doesn’t agree with everything Strømmen said or stands for. Hardly possible, as Charles keeps the photo of Oriana prominently on his website. Hopefully he will realize one cannot have it both ways. I called on LGF for a debate. Face to face, for communication of such and important matter by mail will not do. The raid on LGF by Euro extremists makes it crystal clear that we cannot afford to. Only reason can heal the breach. Therefore I suggest we all take responsibility for our own action and take it from there.
The only question remaining is: will Øyvind Strømmen hang Charles Johnson’s scalp on his AFA belt, or will Charles Johnson see reason, and organize a mediation?

“What’s this about?”

Websense is up to its old tricks again - blacklisting counter-jihadist sites by assigning them to the wrong categories. As a result, many workplaces, schools, and WiFi sites that use Websense “content-filtering” or “censorware” services will automatically block readers from accessing those sites.
We don’t know whether people working for Websense, or malicious outsiders, have been mislabeling these websites - but whoever it is, they are helping our jihadist enemies, and we will not tolerate that.
“What message did you send to Websense?”
Here it is:
I request that http://foehammer.net (Foehammer’s Anvil) be reclassified as a news site. It is currently misclassified as a “games” site.
There are NO games on Foehammer’s Anvil. Instead, it is a a hard news and commentary site with no fluff. The Anvil offers a news aggregator regarding jihadist activity, plus articles and commentary about the U.S. and worldwide political scene as it relates to confronting (or failing to confront) jihadism. Furthermore, the admin keeps an eye out to exclude obscene vocabulary, threats, spam, and the like.
In addition, I request that you also reclassify http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com (Gates of Vienna) as a news and commentary site.
Like Foehammer’s Anvil, it is a counterterrorist site, whose admins carefully screen out bad language, threats, spam, and so forth. It differs from the Anvil in that it focuses somewhat more on European (including UK) counterterrorism news and views.
Counterterrorism news and debate is something that everybody needs in order to make intelligent decisions in the business world, in the voting booth, and elsewhere. Making it too easy to suppress this information helps our jihadist enemies, at everyone else’s expense.
“So why do I need to write?”
Because one person cannot do it all…
Do you value and appreciate good blogs?
If you do, you should be aware that blogs - even nonprofit blogs - don’t remain active unless their intended audience can access and read them. Anything that keeps readers away from a blog will hurt the blog’s chances of survival. So if you want your favorite blogs to be around a few months from now, you need to support them by making sure that nobody is “gaming the system” to obstruct reader access.
Do you value and appreciate your freedom?
Yes, sometimes you have to fight for your freedom - sometimes with the sword, sometimes with the pen, sometimes with both. Okay, these days, the armaments are likelier to involve tanks and fighter planes - along with computers and the Internet. Your email and your blog, if you have one, can be an effective weapon to fight for freedom. Use it!

Here we go again…
Having just posted yesterday’s article about censorware vendor WebSense blocking access to Gates of Vienna, I emailed GoV about it to let them know. Seems that, like many of us in the counterjihad, they’d had trouble before with content-filtering firms blacklisting their site, but they couldn’t recall which one.
I didn’t have that information at my fingertips, so while I was waiting for further instructions at work, I thought I’d take a look at the censorship category at Foehammer’s Anvil. There was a good chance that a blog post or comment would identify the censorware firm(s) that had previously bedeviled GoV.
I was startled to find that Websense had blocked me from Foehammer’s Anvil:

Reason: The Websense category “Games” is filtered.

No games at the Anvil
Games? The Anvil doesn’t offer any games or other entertainment. It’s a hard news and commentary site with no fluff. The Anvil offers a news aggregator regarding jihadist activity, plus articles and commentary about the U.S. and worldwide political scene as it relates to confronting (or failing to confront) jihadism. Foehammer keeps an eye out to exclude obscene vocabulary, threats, spam, and the like.
Suppose some joker who sympathizes with our enemies wants a clever way to keep Foehammer from exposing so many people to unflattering news about jihadist wrongdoing. So the joker calls or emails WebSense and asks them to categorize the Anvil as a games site. I suppose that, to someone at Websense who has never visited Foehammer’s Anvil, the name might sound as though it could possibly be a games site. So WebSense happily obliges. The Anvil is classified as a games site, so that any company or other venue that uses WebSense to block access to games sites will automatically lock out the Anvil.
In this way, we are letting our enemies game the system by manipulating these censorware vendors into muzzling our communications.
If anything, we should be curtailing the distribution of enemy propaganda and disinformation, such as videos that encourage children to become suicide bombers, instead of allowing our avowed enemies to censor communications that we need to defend ourselves effectively.
Too many games at WebSense
Websense unfortunately requires registration to use their site lookup tool, a policy which is highly objectionable in itself. Anybody should be able to see which sites are being blacklisted. So much for accountability to the public!
Therefore, the last time I contacted Websense in order to complain about another site they had misclassified, I used the Websense Email Form.
But when I clicked on that form to to send my message, the Websense email form rejected it because I had entered a “public” (i.e., web-based) email address. Another barrier to accountability!
Even though I was thoroughly disgusted by that petty little ploy, I went ahead and sent the form, but I had to give a personal email address that I would much rather not have used.

Message Websense is blocking GOV under “social networking and personal sites.” I am at work and got blocked.
Censorware site classifications and company policies
Websense is a vendor of content-filtering a/k/a censorware services. Smarty’s workplace evidently uses Websense to block access to various categories of sites, including sites that Websense has categorized as “social networking and personal sites.”
One could reasonably argue that this classification is incorrect, in that Gates of Vienna is not actually a social networking site like, for example, Myspace or Facebook. GoV is a political news and opinion site focused on counterterrorism and foreign affairs. It carefully screens out anything potentially offensive, such as objectionable photos or vocabulary.
What to do?
If Smarty wants to be able to access GoV from work, here are the possibilities:
- Find out what types of sites are allowed at work, and contact Websense to try to get GoV reclassified into a category that would be acceptable. There are two disadvantages here. Getting the censorware company to make this change may be difficult. Even if the censorware company is willing to recategorize GoV, the new category may be acceptable in some workplaces or venues, but not in others.
- Contact the network admin who person who administers the censorware for this workplace, and ask him or her to “whitelist” GoV - in other words, to allow that specific site to be accessed without regard to its Websense classification.
- Get a cellphone with web access, and a service plan that allows unlimited browsing, and use it to access GoV and other sites from any place where cellphone service is available. The disadvantage here is that cellphone access tends to be slower, the screen is much smaller, and browsing features are more limited.

Even so, his motives for launching these attacks on so many of us were clearly negative, self-serving, and harmful to the Counterjihad.
His ugly behavior and his constant lying could not have been motivated by any positive principles. Either he has allowed himself to become enslaved to his ego, or he tried to sell us out in return for some real or expected material advantage.
