I’m being pressed, pestered and bothered; a long few weeks of dealing with the results of censors and attempts to destroy the traffic flow to the Anvil. And still I am winning.

However, I am definitely being distracted by this useless waste of my energies.

It doesn’t look like such attempts are going to end anytime soon either. Today I noticed that my most harmless web presence of all, my music profile on MySpace, has been mysteriously deleted without warning. I just sent an inquiry to MySpace.

This obviously brings up the old Roman paranoia that resides in my blood….(more)

I got off the phone with SonicWall. They apparently think that “anti-war liberal scum” (this is in reference to what the anti-war creeps did to the wall) is hate.

Of course, http://www.dailykos.com/ is considered Web Communications. Can we say hypocrites??

I urge all of you to call them. The number is 1-888-557-6642. When the menu asks you to punch a number if you know the extension, hit the number they provide, then hit zero a few times.

The key word is “defamation,” as it is clear there are no rules as to who they block.

That was our answer! While we don’t know what methods SonicWALL is using to decide whether to blacklist a site, we do know one thing:

SonicWALL is not visiting the sites to check what’s actually there!

What a “professional” way to run a company!

What’s the real reason why Lady Predator’s sites are blacklisted?

We’ve blogged about this before (see Does SonicWALL actually look at the blogs they blacklist?)- but to make a long story short…

It’s all about “Reverend” Jim Sutter’s personal vendetta.

“Reverend” Jim Sutter is a self-ordained minister who has declared a one-man jihad against every source of antijihadist news and commentary that he can find, including Christian talk radio.

Lady Predator writes for a blog, Exposing ‘Rev.’ Sutter, that charges Sutter with using false complaints to censorware providers as a means of shutting down antijihadist blogs.

Sutter is doing the very same thing to Lady Predator and others, in an attempt to shut down every blogger who dares to reveal Sutter’s blog censorship activities! In other words, as we explained earlier, Sutter has manipulated censorware firms to get them to blacklist not only Exposing ‘Rev.’ Sutter, but also Lady Predator’s other domain names, including ladypredator.com and www.ladypredator.com.

How SonicWALL helps the enemies of America and the free world

Up to now, SonicWALL and other censorware vendors have been free to impose de facto worldwide censorship on the Internet, with scarcely anyone realizing what’s going on. (To learn more about how censorware works, see our earlier article, Tell Panera Bread and SonicWALL to Stop Censoring Foehammer’s Anvil!)

SonicWALL and other censorware firms are allowing political speech to be muzzled by malicious individuals and groups operating from anywhere in the world. Evidently, just about anybody can “game the system” by making a false complaint about any site they don’t like, and get the site blacklisted!

In effect, these censorware vendors are providing a “back door” that allows our enemies to interfere with our communications in order to keep everyone in the dark about jihadist activities.

It’s time to hold them accountable.

1389 Blog has been getting some strange visitors lately…

This chart shows the search phrases that people entered yesterday to get to 1389 Blog.

Here’s what happened: Someone entered the phrase “how to make remote pipe bombs” into Google or another search utility. 1389 Blog was included in the list of sites that came up, simply because we ran a news story about the Goose Creek “pipe bomb boys”. The person clicked on the link to get to 1389 Blog.

For the record, there are NO instructions on this blog for making remote pipe bombs or any other WMDs. I wonder whether this particular visitor became frustrated and decided to get back at us by falsely reporting 1389 Blog as a “hate site.”

In case you’re wondering, there is no hate speech on this blog. No trash talk. No incitement to violence. No mention of anything pertaining to racial issues. No ad hominem attacks. No bloody pictures. Comments are moderated, and we don’t even allow swear words. So if you’re looking for an excuse to ban this blog, you will find it only in your imagination.

So how can you find out who is visiting YOUR blog?

By running blog statistics and checking them regularly.

Where do I get blog statistics?

You’ll need to download a plugin, sign up for a web-based utility, or have your hosting provider set up a statistics utility if you want to gather statistics. Just for starters, try these. Follow the instructions at the websites:

• If you have a WordPress blog, whether it’s at WordPress.com or independently hosted, you can use the WordPress.com blog stats plugin.
• Anyone with a blog can sign up for Google Analytics.
• The free version of StatCounter lets you pinpoint the actual IP address for the most recent 500 page views. If this isn’t enough, you can upgrade to a larger log file size for a monthly fee.

How blog statistics can help you to improve your blog

There are other good reasons to run blog statistics.

For one thing, the only way you can build your audience is by trying different things on your blog, and then checking your statistics to see how readers react. You can see how many people are visiting, where they are coming from, which search phrases they used to get to your blog, which blog articles they are viewing, how long they are staying, what they are clicking, and so forth. If you don’t collect statistics, you’re just groping in the dark.

Stop Blog Censorship!

We are receiving e-mails right and left (no, actually, they’re all from the “right,” but anyway…) advising that one anti-jihad site after another has been misclassified by various censorware companies, with the end result being that the readers of those blogs are unable to access the blogs from various schools, places of employment, and wi-fi hotspots.

The problem is complicated by the fact that once we manage to get the sites classified correctly, someone comes along and requests the companies to change the classifications back to something like “violence/hate/racism,” and we have to start over.

WE NEED HELP - YOUR FELLOW BLOGGERS NEED YOUR HELP.

Most of these site have a page you can visit to test a url (web address) to see if it’s been blocked. 1389’s been collecting those, and they are listed below. We have also listed below a list of url’s that have been having recurring problems. (If we’ve missed anyone, please let us know in the comments.)

This is easy, but very important: Simply go to the various test pages, enter the url for your favorite blog, and follow the directions to have it reclassified as something like “media,” or “political advocacy,” as appro.
