Serbia’s Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said yesterday in a meeting with members of the delegation of the Serbian diaspora that there is a need to improve cooperation between the country and the diaspora.

Dacic said during a meeting with representatives of the Serbian diaspora from the United States, Germany, Russia, Austria, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Finland and Sweden, that that the diaspora has an important role in improving the economy of Serbia, the impact on attracting foreign companies to invest in Serbia and improving the image of our country abroad.

The meeting also discussed concrete steps to enhance cooperation with the Serbian diaspora, encouraging export of Serbian economy and improve relations with the countries where members of the Serbian diaspora live.
