Well I have been caught completely off guard. Until I read the Cat’s blog this morning I had no idea today is International Bacon Day. And here I am having last eaten a bacon double cheese burger on Thursday – I am behind in my delish pig intake. True story: I saw some * baconnnaise * in the grocery store today; if that’s not an omen, I’ll kick mohammad in the ‘nads (well, I’d do that anyways).

Gyros = Beef + Lamb! It is a Greek food.

But, Cevapcici is Beef + Lamb + Pork! Cevapdcici is a Serbian food.

Is this a mere error or was it an intentional act of anti-Serbian/anti-Greek culinary bigotry? We may never know.
