The publisher of Hustler is a lost soul. His girlfriend died of a drug overdose & he is a paraplegic.
The only way he can get any satisfaction is by sticking it to people (no pun intended).
If he wanted to turn over a new leaf, he could not. Like a slaveholder he cannot give up that which supports him. So he will not give up publishing pornography.
