Maggie’s Notebook: Bare Naked Islam Reinstated – Bare Naked Islam Support: A Suggestion for Bloggers and Commenters

A last minute update. Reader TW informed me of a Tweet that Bare Naked Islam is back up on WordPress.com but must be gone by January 6th. A tweet says WordPress claims CAIR had nothing to do with their expulsion.

@barenakedislam

SHOCKER! WP has reinstated my blog and say CAIR did not pressure them. But they still want me gone by Jan 6

Read the latest BNI post here and note that while WordPress.com says CAIR did not pressure them, BNI says CAIR bragged about it all over the web.

Read it all here.

This message arrived from someone associated with Bare Naked Islam:

Of course we are looking at WordPress to tell us why, but it seems their staff is conveniently on holidays until Jan 2nd…[still were there to take her site down, we note].

I am hoping the site can be brought back with another server if this one keeps caving in to CAIR, or whichever variation is forcing the issue.

The last time BNI was taken down, CAIR was to blame.

For what it’s worth, you can email WordPress Support at support@wordpress.com.

We would suggest that counterjihad bloggers make plans to obtain independent hosting if at all possible. WordPress.com, Google Blogger, and other free hosting sites are more subject to outside manipulation.

Zilla has more details.

Those muslim will just never quit in spreading their lies. Truth is the one thing that really gets under their skin.

Murder, rape, child abuse all fine with them But they don’t want anyone to know about all the evil done in the name of Islam

You will be back. We need mor truth tellers. Plain and simple.

Best wishes and good luck.

Those people at WordPress are absolute COWARDS!! I’ve already told them what I think of them and hope that Ms. BNI will never deal with them again!!! No doubt enough people will join me in my best wishes to her and the expectation of seeing the Weblog back on-line ASAP!!!

Thank you for let us know about this trampling of BNI’s free speech (and ours by default). I just finished sending an e-mail to these morons. I appreciate you keeping us informed, and we will participate in e-mail campaigns and the like.

Big question is why would WP.Com cave in to an organization a Federal Judge has just said was tied to terrorism.. Makes me wonder if there was some pressure from CAIR’s friends

The entire Obama Administration is a friend of CAIR.

We need a concerted approach to this attack, which is likely to be the first of many with other major counterjihadist blogs such as Atlas Shrugs and Jihad Watch also on CAIR’s list.

2012 looks like being the year when the Muslims make a major effort to shut down freedom of speech, because they know that Islam cannot survive the light of truth.

So we need to analyze our vulnerabilities.

Counterjihadist bloggers need to consider spreading the risk and avoiding presenting single concentrated targets for the enemy. Blogs need to be mirrored and duplicated and spread out around multiple platforms.

Counterjihadists should not merely comment on counterjihadist blogs, but should also disperse counterjihadist comments throughout the blogosphere (general political/religious/community blogs etc) wherever they can be slipped in.

Some more ideas… http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-destroy-islam-non-violently.html

Well, isn’t this some shit?

When a blog is suspended twice within a month, don’t look for that hosting platform to restore that blog.

Wordpress is run and owned by a group called Automattic.. yes with two T’s.. I read their bios.. pretty much what you would expect .. left leaning dweebs with pocket protectors and a cup of Starbucks in their hands. Go complain at Automattic…. you might get to the top of the pile that way. http://automattic.com/ OR

Independently hosted sites are more easily hackable, though. The major French site fdesouche.com was hacked recently and still hasn’t fully recovered. Giant companies like Google and Wordpress are better able to protect their users from hacking.
